Conservation is all about minimum invasion, it’s about maintaining integrity and being honest to what the original builders intended and what’s left of it. It’s an area in which we have considerable experience, and one that we want to grow.

It often comes as a surprise to our clients that we understand conservation to the level of expertise that we offer. The truth is that you can study conservation for as many years as you like, but until you’re working on projects, learning about materials, comparative wear, how different stone types interact, the effect of settlement and all the myriad other elements that added together give us the experience we bring to a project…it’s all just theoretical.
